Our 4th Annual Walk/Run was even better than the last years!. We had many organizations and resources available at their tables so the community could better understand who is available for help in our rural area.
This is a 5K walk/fun run, however, we have someone leading a 1 mile walk as well. Please be sure to bring the family!! Kids are more than welcome as well as your pets! Please be sure to pick up after the pets!!
Honor your loved one by writing their name on a leaf that will be placed on a tree and housed in The JD Foundation office, as well as have their name said out loud at our closing ceremony as we place our beautiful flower in their memory in the stream.
Meet others that know the struggles of a suicide survivor as well as those suffering from mental illness. Feel the camaraderie among the many communities that will be in the same place. Listen to our speakers who share their stories of HOPE. Talk to the many resources that will be there sharing their information. The JD Foundation is proud to partner with all of the organizations that are attending from Penobscot, Piscataquis, and Cumberland Counties.
Beautiful pictures from the 4th annual Walk for suicide prevention!!! Thanks to all who made it!!!!! Thanks to all who donated!! And thanks to all of our wonderful Volunteers!!! Without YOU. This couldn’t be!!!
