The JD Foundation
On average one person in Maine dies from suicide every 39 hours.
Suicide is never the answer. It is a permanent solution to a temporary problem!
The JD Foundation (JDF) was founded by a mother who lost her son to suicide. JDF believes that depression and mental illness is treatable and no family should have to lose a loved one over lack of education. The JD Foundation focuses on Education and Training, Raising Awareness, Grief Support, and Giving Appropriate Resources to those in Crisis and their family members.
